How to Book

Please telephone Brixham Holiday Homes first on 01803 854187 to check on availability of the property you have selected. If the property is available for the specified time, we will reserve it for you for 5 days from receipt of enquiry, pending the receipt of your completed Booking Form together with a deposit of one third of the total cost of the holiday plus a £25 booking fee. The Booking Form can be downloaded by clicking on the link. Please print, complete and then return to us.

The balance of the rent in full, plus any extra charges is due for payment 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. This date will be specified on your deposit receipt or confirmation. If the value of the booking is less than £200 then payment must be made in full. Upon receipt of deposit payment and fully completed and signed booking form, we will forward your confirmation by post. Finally, on receipt of the balance or total payment, details of key collection, concise travel directions and any other relevant details will be despatched to you.

Arrival and Departure Times

Unless stated otherwise in the brochure, please do not arrive at the property before 3.00 pm. Please vacate the property by 10.00 am on the last day of your holiday, taking care to leave the property clean and tidy. Bookings run Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise stated.

Prices

The price shown is the rental amount per property per week booked for 2008. If the week you require is not shown then use the price band immediately before the required week(s).

Pets

Pets are only allowed in the properties as stated in the brochure. One dog is accepted, sorry no cats. Additional dogs may be accepted only by prior written arrangement with the agent. Pets are accepted on the strict understanding that they are kept under control, exercised off the premises and are not permitted in the bedrooms or on the furniture. Under no circumstances are pets to be left unaccompanied in the property.

Cots, High Chairs

Most properties have a cot available. If you require a cot and/or high chair please state this at the time of booking. Where cots/high chairs are not available at a property, it may be possible to hire these items subject to a small fee.

Linen

Bed linen is not provided at most properties and you will need to bring duvet covers, sheets and pillowcases. A hire service is available, details will be sent upon confirmation of your booking.

Short Breaks

These are available at a number of properties between November and March (excluding school holiday periods). Please contact our office to check for availbility and prices. A booking fee of £25 is required for short breaks. Fuel charges are included in the short break price.

It may be possible to book a short break during the summer season, although these will not be available for booking until the week before the short break is due to commence. Prices for summer bookings will be advised at the time of enquiry.

Miscellaneous

Part of the charm of Brixham is the narrow winding roads, however these can mean that parking may be difficult, particularly around the harbour area. Not all properties offer parking, however there are several large car parks and a weekly ticket may be purchased which will provide you with free parking at most council owned car parks throughout Torbay. These offer good value for money.

Many of the properties we offer are traditional fisherman’s cottages. These are very quaint and generally have fantastic views of the harbour and bay. However, these can also have steep steps and staircases, gardens are often terraced and particular care should be taken by the very young and the elderly.
